Our Aluminium Composite Panels (Metal Signs) are the perfect way to advertise your business. This product is perfect for large exterior building signage but can also be used indoors for an industrial look. For the best appearance and longevity, we print photo quality graphics onto a high quality Avery vinyl and laminate it with a Gloss, Matte or Anti-Graffiti finish, or we can also print these onto our Reflective Vinyl materials with lamination! The print is then applied to the panel with our state of the art applicator to ensure a high quality finish.
We have a number of advantages over other sign manufacturers. We manufacture hundreds of these signs (not just 1 or 2 like many smaller companies) so our volume provides great economies of scale. It also allows us to make sure that we have the lowest costs by buying our ACP sheets and vinyls in bulk directly from the manufacturers - not through third party distributors. We also print on the latest high speed, high quality HP Latex printers and then apply the vinyl and lamination to the panels using flatbed applicators (not by hand). All of these factors combine to provide the industry’s highest quality ACP Signs at the lowest cost.
Easy Signs is a signage manufacturer and do not install any signage - however a lot of our signage is quite easy to install yourself. We recommend that you search for instructional videos on YouTube that show you how to install the signage yourself. If you can install it yourself you will save a lot of money! After watching the videos, if you do not feel confident enough to install the signage yourself, we suggest that you look for a handyman or sign installer on airtasker.com which can provide you with very cost effective installation.
The life of the digital print depends completely on the environmental conditions it is exposed to. In general terms the digital print normally lasts 3-4 years before starting to fade and the lamination should add around 12 months to this. While no signage company can offer a guarantee of print life, you can be assured that Easy Signs use the highest quality printers and inks to ensure the maximum possible life for your signs.
The laminated signs are digitally printed onto adhesive vinyl, laminated with clear vinyl lamination and applied to the panel. The lamination protects the digital print from damage caused by abrasion, chemicals and exposure to UV. This will provide a longer life expectancy for your signage. If your signage is in an area with a high risk of graffiti we also recommend that you order the ant-graffiti lamination. This is a tough polyester lamination (not vinyl) which allows you to scrub the sign with graffiti removing chemicals.
The anti-graffiti lamination is a clear overlaminating film that is applied over the digitally printed vinyl and protects durable images against permanent damage from graffiti, paints and UV light. Most commercially available graffiti removal fluids will allow the removal of graffiti without damaging the lamination. Standard vinyl laminations are slightly porous and absorb some of the graffiti - making it extremely difficult to completely remove it. The anti-graffiti lamination is a polyester material which is not porous - so will not absorb the graffiti - and is also much tougher than vinyl so is much more resistant to abrasion.
Anti-Graffiti lamination has a gloss finish
The simple answer is that we want to maintain the highest quality level for our customers. ACP Signs with direct UV print will generally start to fade after 1-2 years under normal conditions - and we believe is insufficient for an exterior building sign so do not offer this to our customers. Our ACP Signs are printed onto high quality Avery vinyl and then have a clear Avery lamination applied over the top. Our ink manufacturers advise that this printing method should not start to fade for at least 4-5 years under normal conditions. (please note that these times are stated for comparative purposes - the lifespan of all digitally printed signs will vary depending on the environmental conditions they are exposed to)
With the exception of the Reflective panels, the maximum sheet size is 2400mm x 1200mm; ACP with the Reflective material has a maximum size of 1190mm x 2400mm. We can make any size sign you require by supplying multiple sheets. For any signs supplied as multiple sheets we will always aim to manufacture your sign as seamlessly as possible, but note there can be up to a 2mm tolerance between the final panels when aligning the print.
Our Engineer Grade materials do not have any tool lines. Our Premium Prismatic materials do have small tool lines that are a characteristic of the material and cannot be removed. They are small light lines caused by the prismatic technology used to create the material and should be no more than 1mm thick. They will not impact the performance of the product nor be noticeable from a distance. It is important to note that all prismatic materials will have these lines.
Our Engineer Grade materials comply with the ATSM D 4956 standards. Our Brilliant Grade Premium Prismatic materials meet the AS/NZS 1960.1 standards when laminated using our Brilliant Grade Reflective laminate. Please note that a requirement of this standard is to have the material code as a small watermark on the product. This can be printed over but will still be visible. We recommend that you independently check your local government restrictions to ensure that any reflective product fits any road or work use requirements.

When creating the artwork, we ask that it is set up with a vectored cutline as per our artwork specifications.
Please note we only offer Custom Shapes for Single Sided Signs. Double Sided Shapes can only be supplied as Squares or Rectangles.
Yes, our price includes the set up cost for 1 design only. If you have multiple designs for the same size you will still get the lower bulk price, however there is a small multiple artwork charge applied for each additional design to cover our extra set up costs. Simply enter the total number of signs required and then the total number of designs into the pricing calculator above - and it will work out an accurate price for you.
